A Quest For A Better Taproom TV Screen Display Service
by Chris Overlay
If you have TV screens in your taproom that you want to use for showing your menus, digital flyers, and/or videos then maybe you’ve experienced the same pain that I did earlier this year. I was in search of a software or service that would make it easy to display graphics onto screens. Mainly because we develop TV-sized flyers promoting all sorts of events for our clients (anniversary parties, specials, trivia, etc). I figured that we could maybe find a provider that made it easy for us, as an agency, to plug in and help manage some of the mechanics for our clients. Turns out, it’s a lot harder to find a decent provider.
The companies that came up in Google searches were less than impressive. They either wanted clients to buy expensive hardware, didn’t offer agency support, were missing features, or the installation was just too complicated… etc. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed by the whole search process and was about to give up… until I got a DM from Mike over at Taplist.io.
I was like, “DUDE! I have been searching for something like this. We need to talk!” So we talked and Mike gave me a preview of his software. I’m super impressed by all the functionality. You can create menus, add images, and easily get your displays up using a Firestick. They even offer support for creating printed menus and embedding your displays on websites. All for less than $50 per month.
If you are in need of a better system for your screens, I highly recommend checking out Taplist.io.
